WHY DO SOME SCHOOLS NOT REQUIRE OR DEMAND LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION?
Some colleges do not require letters of recommendation. Because they can assess a student's potential in different ways. As an adult student, life experience may be more important to your application. In other words, you have a chance to earn a bachelor's degree even if you don't have any letters of recommendation.

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION TO APPLY TO THE UNIVERSITY?
Getting letters of recommendation can seem difficult, especially if you haven't been to school in a while. On the other hand, chances are you'll still get a great referral from lots of different people. Be sure to ask! After all, most people like to help. Doesn't matter who you ask? First, make it as easy as possible for them. Ask politely, of course. Give them plenty of time too. Then make sure they know the school's requirements. Finally, make sure they know your goals. That way, they can be sure to bring out their best qualities. With that in mind, check out our list of people you can ask for a letter of recommendation.
1. YOUR EMPLOYER
With adult learners, the way you work is important. With this in mind, your manager or team leader can address your work ethic and problem-solving skills. In addition, they can also explain how well you work with your colleagues. If your work is related to the degree you are studying, great.
But don't worry if your job is in a different field. Because these qualities are related to your character and not to a specific position. How hard you work matters. Schools look at how adults are doing. So you don't trust the evidence as much.
2. YOUR COACH
Why your coach? College admissions agencies don't really care about your championship season. But if you always motivate your team? Or if you stayed up late to check the game cartridges? So that shows dedication. Therefore, you can use it to highlight how you will do in school.
Not so focused on grades in high school? If so, try talking to a coach about why you feel ready for college now. Maybe they can help convey that to an admissions counselor. In other words, a trainer can show how hard you work. After all, a coach can tell that you are good on a team.

3. YOUR TEACHER
Do you take one or two college courses before starting a full-time program? If so, you can focus on performing well and getting to know the teachers. Of course, a letter of recommendation from a teacher can be very helpful in her field of study. Especially from a teacher who can address her commitment to the classroom. As an adult, clarifying how you're doing in class makes all the difference.
In this case, you can have a partner talk to another partner. As long as, of course, you're okay! With that in mind, it's important to focus on your class work. Another important point is to build a relationship with your teacher. In short, taking courses before a full-time program can help you. Because you can show how you work. And you will get a good recommendation from the teacher.
DOES COMMON APP REQUEST A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION?
Applying to college is stressful enough without having to manage all the different forms and deadlines. The common app definitely makes it easier. And more than 800 schools accept it.
In short, the common application itself does not require letters of recommendation. But your table of requirements will let you know if individual schools do. In this case, you can choose where you want to apply.
15 UNIVERSITIES THAT DO NOT NEED LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
It is quite common for universities to require a letter of recommendation from former teachers. But they are not universal. Especially in schools that serve non-traditional students.
